It was a very sad day when Peter Schmeichel announced his intention to leave Manchester United. Some fans may be angry at his leaving, but they should realise that he has done far more for the club than anyone could have ever expected. He has devoted an extraordinary amount of time to Manchester United and the fans should be grateful for what he has done.
