Andrew Flintoff was born December 6, 1977 in Preston. He is an English cricket player , widely regarded as one of the best all-round cricketers in the world. In county cricket, he plays for his home county, Lancashire. Andrew picked up the nickname Freddie Flintoff due to perceived similarities with the Fred Flintstone cartoon character! Freddy Flintoff gained enourmous popularity after his great performance as England took home The Ashes in 2005.
