Total Annihilation Uberhack

The Uberhack is a fantastic unofficial mod and unit pack for Total Annihilation. It has been designed to balance out the game and make multiplayer games even more fun to play.

Virtually every original TA unit has been modified by the Uberhack and a large quantity of extra units have been added for good measure. The emphasis on the mod is on 'balance', making every unit useful in some respect and not making others redundant. Each unit has its own advantages and disadvantages, there are no super-units that can win a game on their own. however, if you get the mix right, the combination of different units can devastate an opponent!

As well as extra units, a number of bug fixes have been added, removing some annoyances from the game. One of the makor differences in the Uberhack is that anti-air defences only target air units (they'll completely ignore ground units), this makes them a lot more effective at defending against massive swarms of aircraft.

The latest (and final) version of the Uberhack is version 4.0. In order to install it, you must have the Core Contingency add-on installed as well as the original Total Annihilation. If you do not have the Core Contingency, it can be purchased seperately (and is well worth the money on its own).
