Supreme Commander is being designed by Chris Taylor, the creator of Total Annihilation which is regarded by many people as the best real time strategy game ever made. Although Supreme Commander is not an official sequel, Chris has made it clear that this new game will implement many of the features that made Total Annihilation such a big success. Supreme Commander looks like it could be a bigger, better, bolder RTS than its spiritual predecessor and many believe he's about to have a monster hit on his hands!
