Play By Mail

Why would anyone want to play a game through the mail?

Play-By-Mail (PBM) games are very sophisticated.

They are easy to learn but grow in complexity, as you play.

You don't need to buy expensive software or a computer.

Test your skills against hundreds of opponents from all over the world.

It's a great way to make new friends, many of whom have common interests.

Are you tired of playing games by yourself or with the same people again and again?

Receive fun mail, not junk mail.

Look forward to visiting your letter box when you get up in the morning.

How many other hobbies provide an evening's entertainment for two pounds or even less!

Play the games you like, when you like, where you like.

How does it work? 5 easy steps

When you join a game you will recieve a computer printout of your starting position.

You then mail your instructions to the PBM company on the form provided.

You will receive the next printout showing your new position.

A fee is charged for each printout (For some games, the first one or two printouts are free).

Play for as long as you like, or until the game ends.
