Day of the tentacle is a masterpeice of a game. It's unique in the fact that you control three characters simulateously, swapping between them using a simple interface. Each character exists in a different period of time. However they are still able to interact, an action that is taken in the past causes subtle changes in the future which you can use to progress further within the game. It really is a genius of a story, very well thought out and creative. It is one of the best examples of a graphical point and click adventure game.
